The Slave Trade

OK. I have 2 human pets. Well, actually, whilst writing I lost one of my pets to somebody. But that’s MY pet!!! So now I’ve spent 250 points in buying back my original pet. I seem to be worth 400 points at the moment… Wow, who knew the slave trade was so addictive and fun?

Yes, so, I was invited to “play” a facebook application called “Human Pets.” And what a mistake that was… I’m hooked, and it’s only been 15 minutes of game time. The only other game to hook me so quickly was Final Fantasy VII. Years ago. And Kingdom of Loathing. I thought with age came experience and the whole “I can’t become addicted to computer games” phase began.

Yes, SOOO wrong.

What’s worse is the auctioning function. One can auction oneself off to the highest bidder for anything. Yes, ANYTHING!

And the people who are online - there are some rather attractive specimens of presumably both genders. I dunno. I’m not really well-up on the scale of attractiveness for guys. I leave that to women to decide.

This is quite possibly the best and worst application to be ever created in the whole history of Facebook. Ever. For sure.

And I’ve just auctioned myself off too. Fun. Lol!!
